Dr Carlos Saramago is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist with a special interest in Root Canal Treatments and caring for nervous patients. He graduated in dentistry from the University of Porto (Portugal) in 2005 and went on to complete a two-year Master’s Degree in Endodontics at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona in 2008.
Carlos is known for his calm, empathetic approach and his commitment to putting patients’ concerns first. He takes the time to listen and explain, helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease.
Since 2007, Carlos has worked exclusively in private dental practices, focusing on complex root canal procedures. His work is based entirely on referrals from fellow dentists who trust his ability to manage challenging cases. He uses advanced techniques and equipment, including a dental microscope, to ensure precision and comfort in every treatment.
Outside of dentistry, Carlos enjoys travelling—often aligning his trips with international endodontic conferences, especially the American Association of Endodontists Meeting. He’s also an avid reader, a keen kitesurfer, and most importantly, a devoted father to his daughter, Carlota.
